Over a Barrel...

As I have mentioned in an earlier post, filling the 'burban up with gas takes a couple dollars. I have been averaging about a month between fill ups so I only have to fork over the cash about once a month. However, the last time I filled the 'burban with gas I think the price at the pump was the highest it has ever been.

42.253 gallons X $3.479 = $147.00

That's right, one tank of gas just cost me $150! It may seem like a lot for those of you driving more fuel efficient cars, but think how many times in one month you fill your car with gas and what the total cost is at the end of the month. I'm sure it is probably pretty close to what I spend, but I'm also sure the average person is driving three times as many miles for the same price! The joys of owning a full size SUV!
