Since the Trans Am WILL NOT be driven in winter, it is now sleeping in the garage until spring. I plan on going out and starting it about once a month to get the juices flowing, but it is not going to be driven on any roadway until the gravel has been swept up. While it is sitting in the garage for the winter I wanted to make sure it was protected and didn't get covered in dust. So, while I was on eBay one day I found a car cover custom fit for the Trans Am. It will work perfect for keeping the dust and blowing snow off the car for the winter. I installed it and it fits very well.
The other items that I have been collecting for the Trans Am are the service manuals. So far I have been able to purchase them all (however I am still waiting on the auction to close on one in 20 days or so) and have been very happy that I could still find them, and haven't paid over $20 for any one manual! The amount of information in each one of those books is priceless. For those of you that noticed in the picture that the green service manual has "1978" printed on it. This is because each model year didn't chance that much and to save money they just offered a supplemental book for each model year (that is the book I'm still waiting on!).
It will be nice when the last book comes and I have a complete set of manuals for the car. You never know how much longer it will be easy to find and purchase these, now that the car is approaching 30 years old!

Nothing like a "sleeping" muscle car in your garage. I love it!
It is a good thing! A total dream come true!
