Since I last wrote, we did make the trip up to Randy's house to drop off the other snowmobile. He was very happy with it and even had a chance to take it on a small test ride. I don't know if we will be getting any more snow this year or not, but I hope he gets another chance to ride it before spring. It's kinda like getting a bicycle for Christmas and having to wait 5 months to use it!
I also managed to work on getting another one of my projects from last year finished. I finally got the drywall up around the window I replaced in the basement. I can't say I was really looking for a drywalling project right now (since I hate drywalling) but my brother is finishing the basement in his house and needed his drywall square back! Now all I need to do is tape and mud it, then I can do the finish trim. Hopefully I will have this done before it gets nicer outside.
Another thing I managed to come up with is another possible license plate for the Trans Am. If you remember my post from last fall, I pretty much had it narrowed down to one choice (thanks to all that voted!), the black and white embossed license plate with the "80" in the lower right hand corner. I did manage to find another type of embossed license plate. This was the regular type license plate that was assigned to regular passenger cars from 1978-1985. The is the look I was going for! I found a guy online who lives right up the road in St. Louis Park, MN that deals in old license plates. He had a set of this style of plate in used, but very good condition, with brand new, "80" stickers! What a great find! You should have seen all the license plates this guy has! If you are ever looking for a license plate or tabs from any state, get a hold of me and I will pass his information on to you.
Now I just have to wait until September, when my one year taxation period is over with, bring these plate to the DMV and hopefully get approval!

Yep, one spin around the front yard and one around the backyard and it's time to "summerize" the snowmobile... Oh well, It'll be that much more fun to take it out next winter!
Um.... I could use some license tabs... If they are cheap enough, I could use at least two sets of 2010, 2011, and 2012's.
But ONLY if I can get them at a "discounted" rate! (snicker)
