As you can see, it managed to whiten things up a little bit. Bloomington had the most snow accumulation in the metro for the storm at 7 inches. It put me in a better mood having new fresh snow and it gave me the opportunity to get out the snowblower and shovel! I even had a little helper!
I'm thinking the snow won't be sticking around for too long however, since as I type it is 35 degrees out and they are predicting 45 degree for tomorrow. They are also predicting a couple more "precipitation events" over the next week or so, but who know if it will be rain, snow, ice, or a mix of all three. I guess with this last snowfall, I am finally OK if winter is over. Overall, it was a great winter, with a decent amount of snow, I just wish it would have spread the snow out over the entire season.
I also got what was probably my last snowmobile ride in for the season. I went out to a co-worker's cabin in Balsam Lake, WI and we hit the trails out there for a day. We ended up putting 120 miles on, and the trails were in OK shape considering the warm ups. The new track worked very well and it was fun snowmobiling in a new area.
This coming Friday, we are heading up to my friend Randy's house to have dinner and deliver his new snowmobile. I hope he has some snow left (or we get some more) so he had a change to try it out! Hopefully, if Randy gets into it, he will be able to come up north with us.

Doesn't it just figure that the day before you're coming up with the snowmobile we're supposed to have 45 degree weather with rain? Oh well... I'll just hope for a late season blizzard.
She looks as happy with the snowfall as I know you are with it!
