It should be no surprise to most of you that I love snow. I don't think there is anything that I don't like about it...or winter in general. However, I like to get a big massive snowstorm, followed by a week or two of nothing, then another big massive snowstorm. Well, obviously I can't order the snow, and I tend to have my patience tested when it snows like it has been over the last few days. We basically have had a light snowfall, steady for almost three days straight. Our snow totals in Bloomington are somewhere in the eight to ten inch area. The reason I don't like snowfall like this is you never get a chance to get caught up on shoveling, plowing, ect. It seems that once you finish you might as well do it again! Maeve and I have managed to stay on top of the snow the best we can, and as I type this, the snow has finally stopped and after dinner tonight, Maeve and I are going to be going out again to get the driveway cleaned up for good!
Day 1 & Day 2
Day 3
As you can see, all of these little snowfalls combined with a little bit of wind, and you can have a pretty big mess! Needless to say, the snowblower got a pretty good workout over the last few days! Even though I don't like "little" snowfalls spread out over a couple days, it is still snow and I will take it and have a big smile!

Will's Baptism
It is really hard to imagine that it has been over two years since we had Maeve's baptism! Time sure does fly! This past Saturday (February 6th) Will was officially baptized. Shannon's Mom, Step-Dad, and Sister all came up from Texas for the occasion. It was great having all of them up to Minnesota again, they even got to see some snow fall! Will's Godparents are my cousin Adam, and Shannon's ex-step-mom, Nadine. They were both very proud and honored that we asked them, and I am very sure they will keep him pointed in the right direction!
The ceremony went very well. Will didn't start fussing or crying until the last couple of pictures well after the ceremony was over. Maeve did very well also, she started getting a little hyper when the Pastor was talking, but overall, for a 2 1/2 year old, I was pleased! We had the same Pastor that married Michael and Jess do Will's baptism, the Pastor that we had perform Maeve's baptism, our wedding, my baptism, had recently passed away.
After the ceremony, we had everyone back to our house for a brunch. The food was great and we had just enough so everyone had plenty, but we didn't have that much left over! Maeve was a huge helper with opening presents and she made sure and showed Will each one before she moved onto the next one!
Overall, the entire day was great! The kids were good, the food was good, and everyone seemed to have had a good time! I would like to thank everyone that attended and helped us with Will's baptism. It really does mean a lot to us! Also, a special thank you to Mom and Dad for taking pictures and getting us copies, so we had one less thing to worry about!

Our "Office!"
This is actually more of a response to my good friend Dave's blog post from a couple weeks ago asking others to show where they blog at. I figured since it has been a while since I personally responded to one of Dave's posts with a post of my own, here goes!
This is a picture of out office, or for the purpose of responding to Dave's post, where I blog at! The office is located in the basement of our house off of the family room. I think the previous owners had plans to make this a bar, but it was quickly turned into our office instead! The furniture we had purchased when we still lived at our townhouse and it fits pretty good here too! We also share the office with Bear's kennel. I have managed to accumulate a bit of junk over the years but I am slowly working on getting things cleaned out and organized. We also need to get the office (and rest of the family room) painted, but we have a few other projects that are going to come before the painting.
So, there it is. The area we call our office and where I blog at!
