We have had a ton of snow this year. However, during the last week or so we have had temperatures in the 50's and most of the snow has melted. It was very nice to see the snow go and have that "spring" feeling in the air. Just like the nature of March, having the snow melt was not the end of winter. A couple days ago we got a wet four to five inches of muck, which started as rain, then the rain froze, then we got sleet, then snow. With this latest snow fall, we are now ranking the 5th snowiest winter on record with 84.7 inches! After having to shovel/snow blow this latest mess, I officially declared I am done with winter! Bring on spring! Here are a couple shots of the front and back yard to see the melting/accumulation progress:
